Hey, kids! It’s another Dancing Sustainable Outfit of the Day video! From now, I’m going to feature these on my blog! Here’s what I’m wearing:

  • Vintage Blazer by La Vie Paris (a label that no longer exists!)
  • Thrifted 100% Silk Blouse by J.Crew
  • Hat by Joe Fresh
  • Faux Fur Scarf by Joe Fresh
  • Black Cord Mini Skirt by Calvin Klein
  • Plaid Kitten Heels by Joe Fresh
  • Random Plaid Umbrella by I don’t know…

With the exception of two items, most of these pieces do not qualify as ‘sustainable’. However, I didn’t go out and buy anything new for this look, but rather ‘shopped my closet’ for garments and pieces I’d bought in seasons passed, long before ethical fashion was on my mind. I try and use what I have rather than buying more — even if what I have was not made by sustainable or ethical brands!

And here’s the makeup I’m wearing:

Don’t try this at home (makeup I’m trying to use up as part of my Project Toxic 10 Pan):

  • L’Oreal Magic Perfecting Base Face Primer (last use!)
  • Hand Candy Glow All the Way Luminizer
  • Nars Satin Lip Pencil in Rikugien
  • Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Natural in N9
  • Clinique Neutral Territory 2 eight pan palette (was a limited edition — but generally stay away from Clinique)
Here are the safe cosmetics I used:
